/We wish the best of luck to these 9 players this season! Go Swiss Point Raiders! 🎾💥 They will compete January - March in the Junior Varsity division this year. Come see them play at Mills Field on Fridays 4-6 pm.
Spooky 👻 (but not too spooky) Halloween 🎃 tournament.
/Our advance players had a round robin to celebrate Halloween together. Nick Antunez won this event with most games won. He is also the youngest of our group! Hope you all had a fantastic Halloween with family and friends. Notice we all grew fangs for this event!
SJTA JTT U12 green dot finishes their 1st season 🥇
/We are proud to announce our green dot team has finished their first season collecting 155 win as a team! This is their first season in USTA team tennis in our local league play. Please help us congratulate them on a fantastic team effort to pull in these wins in both singles and doubles.
Week 7 summer tennis camp!
/We’re in the last two weeks of camp. So many players are improving their game and some are learning how to play tennis for the very first time. We have enjoyed watching these players develop their own individual styles on the tennis court.
Week 6 - Wimbledon Week - White, Wooden Racquets, Strawberries and Fun!
/We celebrated Wimbledon week with all our students in our tennis camp. This is an annual tradition we have had now for 10 years in our summer camp. We dress in white, play with wooden racquets, eat Strawberries and have some fun competition. This year we had 4 teams to represent Eastbourne, Birmingham, Nottingham and Queens Club doing a Davis Cup style tournament for singles and doubles.
Week 4 & 5 summer tennis camp - It's hot out here!
/Week 4 & 5 remains a strong attendance of 50 players per week! We have so many new players that have come to hit and learn with us. An excellent two weeks of footwork, skills and drills all our players are learning and implementing in games or match play.
Week 3 of Summer Camp complete - 54 players attended this week!
/We are so excited for all the teen beginners we have had at our tennis camp. Some of them came last summer and came back to play with us. Some have never picked up a racquet before and are learning the Fundamentals of Tennis. We hope they want to stay and play all year around!
Taylor Reid signs to play for Belmont Abbey in division 2 college tennis!
/We are celebrating Taylor Reid, student at St. Johns Tennis Academy and graduate senior from Creekside High to play for Belmont Abbey college tennis team- division 2. Congratulations to Taylor and wishing her all the best in college tennis! 🎾

/Aryan Gupta will compete in singles and doubles with his tennis partner Jack Walzer at state level next Wednesday in Orlando.
Congratulations Swiss Point Rookie middle school team on 1st place in the playoffs! 🥇
/Swiss Point Middle School tennis team has clinched the finals in first place this season in the rookie division. We played the Fruit Cove Flyers in the playoffs with close matches in number 2 singles, number 1 doubles and number 2 doubles in a tiebreaker.
Pranav is USTA Level 7 finalist at Queens Harbor
/We want to congratulate Pranav in his recent win at Queens Harbor two weeks ago as a Level 7 finalist. Pranav has been in our high performance Academy class now for 1.5 year. He is a brilliant student at Nease High School. His current UTR 3.45 in singles and 5.44 in doubles. Congratulations Pranav and we wish you the best of luck in the next tournament!!
Hispanic Heritage Month - USTA→
/Please congratulate Daniella (Dani) Estrada in her recent highlighted article in USTA’s Hispanic Heritage Month. Dani has been with our tennis Academy since she was 9 years old and now is a Freshman college student at University of South Florida. Dani accomplished her Professional Tennis Registry certification to become one of our professional tennis assistants for Juniors 11-17 two years ago. She was recently highlighted in this article to celebrate tennis players hispanic Congratulations Daniella Estrada, one of our own PTR tennis assistants at the Academy has been highlighted in this months Hispanic Heritage Month with USTA.
Congratulations Dani! We look forward to your accomplishments on the tennis court as well as off the tennis court in college.

Red Ball Challenge at San Jose Golf and Country Club has been set for Saturday, January 25th 9-11a.m.
/Please register now for the upcoming red ball challenge which will include Saint John Tennis Academy tennis students and San Jose Golf and CC students for a fun, non- elimination, red ball challenge. We will have games, drills and round robin style of playing for all our red ball players. All levels are included!
You can register on our website under Fall/Winter Registration, fill in all the information and on the drop down menu select “RED BALL CHALLENGE”.
We will have a pizza party at the end of our event and a prize to take home.
Cost is $20.00 paid in advance of the challenge. Registration will close December 19th at midnight!

Ladies Beginner class - summer 12 weeks of training complete
/I LOVE teaching this class! I have 6 ladies from our community who have now completed my 12 week series of “Love to Learn” “Love to Play” These ladies are ready to start playing doubles and soon will be playing league tennis. We have tons of laughs and they are so eager to learn and play. It’s really a Mom’s Night Out on Monday’s with me. I understand how important that is now an “Empty Nester” mom of 2.

SJTA Academy student Kyra Gravelle wins finalist in the local Grand Prix.
/Kyra played her 3rd Grand Prix and won finalist today beginning her journey into local tournament play here in Jacksonville. This young lady has improved so much in Tennis this past year. We are proud of you Kyra and Coach Estella DePaula working hard on the tennis 🎾 court! Your persistence paid off today!
Mal Washington Gala & Pro Am Tournament fundraiser.
/Each year our pros are involved in the gala for a fundraising event for our youth tennis in Jacksonville. Thursday we will attend a silent auction and on Friday participate in playing the ProAm tournament at San Jose Golf and Country Club

Mali Vai Washington Foundation Gala/Pro Am
/A weekend for Mali Vai Washington Foundation fundraiser. Our student Allie Bielski represented us at the Gala which brought in a record $310,000.00 of donations. Followed by the Pro Am tournament at San Jose Golf and CC.

SJTA u14 intermediate to Orlando USTA JTT sectionals
/Team SJTA Ace Breakers competed in sectionals championship this weekend in Orlando at Red Bug Park. What a fantastic group of kids who played three days of tennis 25 matches.
